It works well for collaboration on documents. Documents can be set for the creator's viewing only or shared with others. Permissions can be set for how much, if any, documents may be changed by those it is shared with. Google Docs are available anywhere that the user has an internet connection. This can be great for easy access but only when there is a reliable connection, otherwise it is a drawback. Teachers can use Google Docs to collaborate with other teachers as well as for classroom writing projects. Students can use Google Docs when collaborating on research and writing projects.

BrainPOP Jr. is the primary aged version of BrainPOP. It provides video instruction for students in grades K-3 as well as fun games, activities, and multiple choice quizzes that are orally administered.
Teachers can use BrainPOP Jr. as a stand-alone technology station or videos can be embedded into teacher created lessons. The site is easy to navigate by young learners. Students can use this site to reinforce concepts introduced during instruction and for enrichment. |

Videos can be saved and shared using the generic URL or a customized URL can be created for quick searches. Videos can be password protected and can have a customized start/end time for when only a section of video is desired.
ViewPure can be safely used by teachers and students when compiling lessons and projects. Unfortunately, ads cannot be removed and some videos are not able to be purified due to their inability to be embedded based on their settings in YouTube. |
ClassDojo is a free, digital classroom management tool which can be accessed online or through a tablet application. It allows a teacher to track and reward wanted and unwanted behaviors. This data can be shared with a parent through ClassDojo or printed out and sent home as part of the teacher-parent correspondence. Teachers can allow invite parents to join so that they may have access not only to the behavior data but also to a Facebook style section detailing activities in the classroom as well as an instant messenger system.
